Cookie Policy
Last updated:
This Cookie Policy explains how OrquidAgents uses cookies and similar technologies on our website. The short version: we use strictly necessary cookies only, our analytics are cookieless, and we run no advertising or cross-site tracking.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website can store in your browser. They can be “necessary” (required for the site to function) or used for analytics, personalisation or advertising. Under the GDPR and ePrivacy rules, non-essential cookies require your consent.
2. Cookies we use
By default we set only strictly necessary cookies — for example, to remember a security token or your basic session state. These are required for the site to work and do not require consent.
| Category | Purpose | Consent required |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Core site functionality and security | No |
| Analytics | Cookieless usage measurement via Umami | No cookies set |
| Advertising | None — we do not run advertising cookies | Not used |
3. Analytics is cookieless
We measure how the site is used with Umami, a privacy-first analytics tool. It does not set cookies, does not track you across other sites, and does not build an advertising profile. It records aggregate, non-identifying usage data only — so we can improve the site without surveilling you.
4. No advertising cookies
We do not use advertising, retargeting or social-media tracking cookies. We do not sell or share your data with advertising networks.
5. Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Because we rely only on strictly necessary cookies, disabling them may affect core functionality but will not stop us measuring traffic (our analytics are cookieless either way).
6. Changes to this policy
If we ever introduce non-essential cookies, we will update this policy and ask for your consent first. Material changes are reflected here with a revised “last updated” date.
